The Quality of My Life…
Please complete the following statement:
The quality of my life is determined by the quality of my _____ ?
The question is inspired by a statement I once heard from Jim Fay, the founder of the Love and Logic Institute. I have inserted a blank, in place of Mr. Fay’s idea because it is a thought provoking question.
After I have heard from a few parents, educators and students on this I will share what Jim Fay said. So feel free to leave me your thoughts & comments!

The first that comes to my mind is relationships. So, the quality of my life is determined by the quality of my relationships. But I wouldn’t say that the quality of my life is limited to that exactly. Certainly for me community, thus relationships, is essential but so is exercise (endorphins), as is a sense of well-being, and as is time. I’ll be interested in watching what others say.
Thanks for making me pause in thought.
My teacher, Paul Bogush, gave this to us as an assignment. I believe that the quality of my life is determined by the quality of my ACTIONS. Your life and the way you are treated is determined by how much you do and how you act. If you act disrespectful to others you won’t get any respect from other people. If you are polite and kind to others then others will be kind to you. Also depending on your decisions then they will lead you in different directions

I think that the quality of my life is determined by the quality of my mind. If I don’t use my mind to make the right decisions, I probably wouldn’t be the person that I am today. I’m glad that our lives bring hard decisions to make because when you make that decision, you know that you’ve done something for yourself. The quality of my life is also determined by the quality of my heart because my decisions are based on how I feel. So when I get that feeling in my heart that I know my decision is right, then I can make a smarter choice for myself.

I’ve yet to find a definite measurement for “quality” of life. Society has offered several possibilities, but I’ve yet to recognize any of them as having some sort of authority to be used as a measurement.

I believe that the quality of my life is determined by the quality of my attitude because if i approach things with a positive attitude rather than a negative one I would have more of an open mind to the possibilities and it could take me far in life.

I was thinking about this and i came up with friends. Now you may be thinking that this isn’t that important but let me explain. Without my friends, i wouldn’t have anyone to talk to about my problems. But there are down sides such as when i trust a friend and tell them something, i don’twant them to tell anybody else and especially blow it out of proportion and come up with this whole big lie. I also don’t like when my friends make fun of my for saying something or laugh behind by back.
But other than that i would say that my friends are really a big part of me and my life. Well at least my real friends.

The quality of my life is depended on the quality of my choices.
It all depends on that right? If you make poor choices then the quality of your life is poor. If you make good choices then the quality of your life is good.

I’m Tim, a student of Mr. Bogush. The quality of my life is determined by the quality of my life. This is because I find to much decides on the quality of my life. My thinking, education, physical abilities, work, and much more determine the quality of my life. There is balance in my life. I don’t let a single factor take over all of it. It seems foolish to do so. Thus the quality of my life is determined by the quality of my life!
MY surroundings because I feel that if everything around you is good then why you shouldn’t be if you have support witch is good so you will do good.
