Lightning
Last summer we put on a Science Fun Day in the park for the kids. I was recently going through some old papers and came across a note I wrote to myself because it was so cute. I thought I would share it with you here.
How lightning works according to my daughter’s first grade classmate Jaysie B.-
- Sky opens up
- Light comes through
- Sky slams shut (boom!)
That’s about right, isn’t it?

Love it. Great picture and definition.
I will share it with my second graders. We are studying weather now.
Our teacher, Mr. Bogush, told us to answer your question: the quality of my life is determined by the quality of my ____ ?
Well I just wanted to let you know what my answer was. For me it’s relationships. I wrote a whole post about it on my blog. Come check it out:

The answer to your question is that my answer was my mood. If I am in a bad mood i don’t want to talk to anyone and could care less about what’s happening around me. Come to my blog!

Hello,
That is a cute way to describe lightning. I have an ending to your statement “The quality of my life is determined by the quality of my ____ ?” At first I wasn’t even sure I could answer. There was many things. I had no idea what I would say. I thought about it for a long time and I finally chose an ending.
“The quality of my life is determined by the quality of my memories I bring with me and the places I go”
